# Missouri Association of the Deaf 

> The Missouri Association of the Deaf (MoAD) is the oldest and largest nonprofit, consumer-based organization of Deaf and Hard of Hearing people in the state of Missouri, MoAD was founded in 1904 by the alumni of the Missouri School for the Deaf and incorporated in 1907. The MoAD, as a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization as described in Section 501 (c)(3) of the United State Internal Revenue Code of 1954 (or the corresponding provision of any future United State Internal Revenue Law), is supported
